Database access errors

Occasionally Charts will stop operating and display a Database Access Error. The error message which is displayed has important information as to why the error occurred and helps us to diagnose the problem and attempt to rectify it.

When there is a database error displayed on the screen take a copy of it or capture a screenshot and either fax it to (+612) 9906 3436, or email it to OnLine Systems.

To capture a screenshot of the error message, press the PrtScn button on your Windows keyboard. You may think nothing is happening, but this copies an image of your computer screen onto your computer's 'clipboard,' ready to paste into a new email to us, for example. Then open your email program, such as Outlook, and create a new email. Choose Edit menu, then Paste, or Ctrl+V. The stored image will then be pasted into your new email. Send it to info@online-int.com.au or the direct email address of one of our support consultants. (If you have an F Lock key you might need to switch it off before the PrtScn button will work.)
