Clink261 hostel started using Charts software in March 2010 and we have no regrets about the decision we made. 'Charts' is easy to use and speeds up the whole booking process incredibly. Checking in/out is now significantly easier and faster. Our occupancy has improved as a result and it is easier to sell beds – Website availability is updated automatically! Guests are also much happier as they don't have to be moved around as much. Overall – we are very pleased with the Charts system and the many benefits it provides.

'We use Charts Portal to manage our online bookings from Hostelworld, Hostelbookers, Wotif, RatestoGo and Quickbeds. As soon as a booking comes in availability gets automatically updated without any input from staff. Previously we limited ourselves to only 2 websites, as maintaining availability was too difficult. Since we got Charts, overbookings and mis-bookings have been nearly completely eliminated, leading to greater room revenue. Staff stress has greatly decreased and staff productivity has increased. Checking in and extending in-house guests is now much faster and more efficient than before. We also have the Email interface and once a booking comes in from whatever online source, our customised confirmation email goes out to the guest.'

'When I first heard about a booking system where you don't use mouse, I thought it was going to be weird to use! Well I was wrong! It's actually so much faster to make a reservation when you only have to hit tabs and F10 for enter. I am so used to it now that sometimes I press F10 instead of clicking twice with the mouse. You really get used to it very easily and it is definitively not a step back but more a step ahead from other booking system.'
