"One of the most attractive and ultimately the deciding factor was the Charts development of both web portals and web reservation systems. Using our current PMS required manual updating of all distress and third party websites. This process itself usually required at least a two hour period first thing each day with constant monitoring throughout the day.. the actual labour cost involved in selling your hotel product online is equivalent to employing a full time person. Charts provides a very useful tool called yield profiles. Once these are set up they can then be applied to any rate code used within the PMS. Within minutes I can increase or decrease rates on every website, including our own, by simply applying a yield profile on a calendar within the software..
The software is very stable, efficient and easy to use. In the time we have been using Charts we have never had any down time caused by any errors in the software. Eight Hotels Australia is expanding and this year will see the launch of its new luxury brand Diamant into both the Sydney and Canberra markets. The functionality of the software and the prompt response you get from the support team will see this software used by all new Eight Hotels Australia properties."
